Wakeforce is designed as a local-first application. This means your data is processed and stored on your device, not on our servers.

To provide our services, specifically local alarm management and sleep/snore tracking, we require access to certain device capabilities:

Microphone Access (Snoring Detection)

Wakeforce uses the microphone to detect and analyze snoring patterns while you sleep.
Important:

• Audio is analyzed in real-time on your device to calculate decibel levels.
• No raw audio or recordings are ever saved, stored, or transmitted.
• The app only records numerical data (timestamps and decibel levels) derived from the analysis.

Camera Access (Mirror Effect)

Wakeforce may use the front camera to provide a live "Mirror" preview during an active alarm.
Important:

• This is a live feed for psychological wake-up purposes only.
• No photos or videos are taken, recorded, or stored.

Health & Sleep Data

Sleep duration and snoring statistics generated by Wakeforce are stored in the application's local database on your device. We do not sync this data to any cloud service unless you explicitly export it yourself.

3. Data Storage and Retention

All user data, including alarm settings, personal "Why" messages, and sleep reports, is stored using the device's local storage (SharedPreferences and local database).

Reports are retained for a maximum of 30 days within the app by default. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the application cache or uninstalling the app.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not share your information with third parties. Wakeforce does not contain third-party analytics (like Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics) or advertising SDKs that track your behavior across other apps or websites.

5. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 4 (the minimum age for the App Store). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Since all your data resides on your device, you have full control over it. You can access, modify, or delete your data directly within the app's settings.
